Greenstep´s year 2025
Before we turn the page for the next year it is time to look back to year 2025
Throughout the year, our team of experts has grown and strengthened with new Greenstepers who support our customers in various needs. For instance, our Go Global team, which supports international companies and those seeking internationalisation, has welcomed new members.
Greenstep currently operates in six different countries: Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. We are also part of the MSI Global Alliance network, allowing us to serve companies in over a hundred countries.
We have also expanded our service offering. In the future, we want to support our customers more comprehensively with a range of IT-related issues, helping them to solve IT challenges and, above all, harness technology for business benefit. To this end, we have created a new service package: CIO Services.
In addition, we have further developed the analytics and reporting tool BI Book, with new functions and features designed to help financial, HR and ICT managers make better decisions and predict the future – even faster and more cost-effectively.
Our business is based on shared values
We are a responsible employer and a strategic partner for our clients. At Greenstep, sustainability is an integral part of everyone’s work and the whole organization. It is reflected in our everyday activities — in everything we do.
The focal points of our sustainability work have been developed from the impact of our operations and the expectations of our stakeholders. They are:

Investments in renewable Energy
In 2021, Greenstep made a commitment to invest at least 10% of our net profit in renewable energy between the years 2021 and 2025. The target, set at a total of 5 million euros in investments, remains intact, with 4 million euros committed so far. We are currently seeking a suitable investment opportunity. Once we have identified one, we are prepared to invest an additional 1 million euros. We invest responsibly and continuously look for ways to increase our environmental and social impact.
Our employees helped us raise money for charity
In our annual well-being challenge, we challenged our employees to take steps or cycle, simultaneously raising money for the charity fund. Together, we collected over 2,000 euros for various charities. The winners of the weekly challenges got to choose the donation targets, which included, among others, the following organisations: Cancer Foundation Finland, Pride community (Seta ry), MIELI Mental Health Finland, and Sisu Ukraine.
In addition, our running team, the Greenrunners, took part in a charity running event (Yritysmaratonviesti) in Helsinki in May. Proceeds from the event will support the work of the Finnish Olympic Committee in promoting physical activity among children and young people.
Carestep Oy’s strong training mission supports inclusion and prevents social exclusion in society
One of our sustainability investments is the cleaning company Carestep, founded in 2021, which offers high-quality cleaning services and uses all its profits for social good. Carestep hires, for example, immigrants who may face challenges finding employment due to language barriers and offers them language studies, career guidance, and coaching for free.
The Greenstep Gala marked the culmination of Greenstep’s anniversary year in September
This year marks 15 years since Greenstep was founded, and we celebrated this in September in Helsinki at the Greenstep Gala with over 500 Greenstepers. The day was full of wonderful encounters, joy, and gratitude for the journey we’ve shared.
